Expansions of Stans Semper national territory.

The proud nation of Stans Semper has reached the vigorous population of 85 millions and will soon reach the milestone of 100 millions citizens. The agricultural intensive economy of Stans Semper and its respect for environment requires an expansion of the national territory to sustain the Stans Semperian model of economy. The borders drawn for a then 15 million big Stans Semper feel tighter and tighter for the increasing population of Baltic inhabitants. The issue was raised to the government, which also had the concern of the Ratanian order now controlling the only trade route out of Stans Semper, going through Danemark. A plan was drawn for this expansion and future ones, depending on the population growth of the nation. It was made public to prevent any tensions and diplomatically solve any issue with concerned neighbours:

- 2 expansions towards the White Sea, to assure to always have a trading port open
- 1 expansion to entirely control all the lakes South-East of what would be then Stans Semper
- possibly several expansions to close the gap between Stans Semper Byrd Land

Any unilateral expansion from a foreign country on these areas will be considered by Stans Semper as a diplomatic insult.

Troops and construction workers have begun to move in the areas and building roads, infrastructure and outposts, while instructed to stay away of the Ratanian Order, waiting instructions from Stans Semper diplomats.

The colonization was going great, until the guards at a post in the remote territories of Stans Semper found a foreign recon team relieving themself on their walls. Those strangers apparently belonged to the country of the spiritual and flower-eating Montegrians.

Forced to do so, the Stans Semperians Foreign Minister sent a letter of protestation to the Montegrians. Of course, the computers of those barbarians couldn't run the latest version of Mindoms OS, the Stans Semperian flagship of its IT industry, and were unable to read the letter.

Whatever was happening on the border, the situation was delicate for Stans Semper. Bordered on 2 sides, the project of a harbour on the ocean sunk, the incoming threat of an expansion of the Ratanian Order in Poland and Belarus and the obvious future colonization by Montegria of the territories East of Stans Semper, it became obvious to seek support.

Byrd Land having shown no will of future expansion whatsoever, it was decided to accelerate the colonization program, with a now population of 160 millions, and reach the borders of Stans Semper southern neighbour.
